Employment Opportunity - Part-Time Public Works Operator / Utility Operator
The Rural Municipality of Stanley No. 215 is currently accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Public Works Operator and/or Utility Operator.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of municipal infrastructure throughout the RM. Duties include operating a variety of equipment such as tractors, mowers, a grader, hand tools, power augers, and other equipment to maintain roadways, ditches, and gravel surfaces. Experience in municipal road maintenance will be considered an asset.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Highly motivated, capable of multitasking, and able to work with minimal supervision;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with a variety of individuals;
• Basic technical capacity with computers and web-based software;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and positive team attitude;
• Ability to lift 50 lbs;
• Mechanically inclined;
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence;
