The Rural Municipality of Stanley No. 215 is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrator. This position reports directly to Reeve and Council and is responsible for all duties, responsibilities and administrative affairs of the Municipality according to the Municipalities Act. This position provides good guidance and advice related to Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Policies, Budgets, Assessment, Tax Enforcement and ensures the overall efficient operation of the Municipality.

Required Skills:

  • Level C or Higher Qualification with Rural Municipal Administrators Association;
  • Local Government Administration or other Certificate from a business-related program;
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices;
  • Minimum 5 years of direct work experience in municipal services is an asset;
  • Direct supervisory and team leadership experience;
  • Highly motivated and capable of multitasking, and able to work with minimal supervision;
  • Extremely detail-oriented;
  • Experience with web-based software, Microsoft Office suite and Munisoft Municipal Software systems;
  • Strong problem-identification and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude;
  • Ability to deal effectively with the general public and work independently;
  • Bondable.
